Campfire Visions knows all too well that the human spirit must express itself to evolve. This can take many shapes but an essential ingredient involved is being open to life, ones surroundings and present company so as to spark the Muse.
Increasingly, creation has been commodified within the Neo Liberal hollowing out of culture in late/end stage Capitalism. Rather than serving the natural expression of Spirit, it’s fast become shallow means to commodify the Self, so we may merely scrape by in inflation-ravaged society that so often feels the target of controlled demolition.
We’re lumped with imaginations in this life and limiting their scope by top-down fashion trends, politically correct mandates and groupthink only fosters a form of self-policing that scuppers scratching the surface of things, (which only serves people who couldn’t care less what we do with our time, beyond lining their pockets).
Each person has a unique history, essence and voice. Accepting status quo at face value means many never find the context in which they can truly thrive and develop further. Their Spirit lays frustrated, dormant and depressed, with culture only suffering as a result.
What’s been done before reflects nothing that ignites them and, without finding kindred spirits to rebel alongside, they run the risk of giving up on nurturing the dreams their Spirit can’t help but move them towards. Alienation takes hold & innovation and hope halts, like clock work.
Campfire Visions, by design, seeks to address this state of affairs.
Our spring board is an insatiable wanderlust for stories and perspectives in them that present the world anew and, as a result, renewed. Our MO is creating safe space to relax into thinking laterally about how best to share each person’s Spirit and associated talents to their most enthused, alive and inspiring extent. We don’t ask permission; we see Spirit as a saving grace and run with it to touch down.
Key to this is ensuring confidence is cultivated in ways each person we collaborate with needs, whether that’s sharing our in-house knowledge, pooling resources interdependently or simply setting them off in motivating directions of new Self-cultivating adventure. Our network linked in this mission is already vast and will only grow.
2025 is the year of collaboration over competition as material conditions grow harsher and necessity is, as ever, the mother of invention.
We look forward hungrily to demonstrating how much heart + a DIY, process-driven approach to creative alchemy can produce optimal conditions to stay sane with flair and reveal just what makes Spirit soar.
